The World is warming due to emissions created from the burning of fossil fuels used by humans, such as coal, oil and gas. Extreme weather events linked to climate change (including heatwaves, floods and forest fires) are intensifying. The past decade was the warmest on record and governments agree urgent collective action is needed.

CLARIN is a renewable energy developer, with a focus on decarbonizing local electricity distribution networks, producing clean green energy for local populations and businesses, whilst supporting communities with revenues from the renewable asset.

Typically we pursue smaller niche development opportunities that we can scale across multiple project locations, creating a larger impact across multiple communities when compared to one large renewable project on a mountain.

A key aspect of our business model is ensuring communities are consulted extensively on the proposed renewable energy development, such that they are fully aware of the many benefits renewable energy developments can bring to a local area, including:

• Reducing dependency on fossil fuel imports by displacing with renewable energy generators, and so reducing local carbon footprints at various towns and villages.


• Providing Community Benefit Funds, that can be utilized for multiple initiatives, including environmental, social, educational, sports, or business supports.
